Movie tough guy Vinnie Jones faces an April Fools Day he won't be smiling about - he's due in court to face assault charges.

After four delays, the Snatch star's attorneys met South Dakota prosecutors in court on Wednesday for a hearing, and a plea date was set for 1 April.

Jones has been charged with three counts of assault following a bloody fight in a Sioux Falls bar, which left him with 48 stitches in his face.

The former soccer star was not in court in Minnehaha County, South Dakota for the hearing.

Justin Barrera, Jones' fighting foe in the brawl, was arrested on drug charges earlier this month.

Barrera reportedly smashed a glass in Jones' face.

Two More Wolverine Images

From: BeyondHollywood.com

Two new images from “X-Men Origins: Wolverine”, the first pic featuring Wolvie and his best buddy Sabretooth (or as Wolvie calls him, Sabbie) getting up close and personal, claws out ready to pick each other’s teeth, cause they’re just buddies like that. The second image is a behind-the-scenes look at the Weapon X program. It looks Weapon X programmy.

Leading up to the events of “X-Men,” “X-Men Origins: Wolverine” tells the story of Wolverine’s epically violent and romantic past, his complex relationship with Victor Creed, and the ominous Weapon X program. Along the way, Wolverine encounters many mutants, both familiar and new, including surprise appearances by several legends of the X-Men universe.

Starring Hugh Jackman, Ryan Reynolds, Liev Schreiber, Dominic Monaghan, Lynn Collins, Danny Huston, Daniel Henney, Taylor Kitsch, Kevin Durand, Scott Adkins, Will i Am. Directed by Gavin Hood.

The claws come out May 1st.
