Paquin To Bare All On Screen As Vampire Prey
From: imdb.com
Fans of Oscar winner Anna Paquin are set to see a whole lot more of the former child star when she bares all as vampire prey in the second season of her hit TV show True Blood.
The actress, who was just 13 in 1994 when she claimed a Best Supporting Actress Oscar for her role in The Piano, admits she's getting more adventurous as waitress Sookie Stackhouse in the hit series - and she's planning to strip for the cameras and her real-life boyfriend, co-star Stephen Moyer.
She tells Eonline.com, "I get more naked this season than I did last season... It's not an issue for me."
But she wanted to make sure she looked trim and toned for the risque scenes: "I'm very careful about what I eat, and I work out a lot. My costume entails bathing suits, short-shorts and nude scenes.
"I don't want to be perpetuating the myth that women actually do look exactly like the way they look in magazines and on television through absolutely no effort!"

Ray Park Also Joins "Heroes"
From: worstpreviews.com
We just reported that Robert Knepper, Theordore "T-Bag" Bagwell on Fox's "Prison Break," has signed on as the lead villain on NBC's "Heroes" next season, and now we have some more "Heroes" casting news.
According to Entertainment Weekly, British actor Ray Park (Darth Maul in "Star Wars: Episode I," Toad in "X-Men," Snake Eyes in "GI Joe") and Deanne Bray ("The L Word") are now both in negotiations to join the show in multiple episodes.
Little is known about Park's role, except that he would be playing one of the colorful characters at the center of the show's Carnivale-esque storyline. Bray, meanwhile, would play a deaf love interest for one of the main Heroes.

Hamlet Filming Underway
From: kasterborous.com
Written by: Christian Cawley
He's not quite post-Who as yet - there's more than likely a lot of publicity to come in the backend of 2010 - but David Tennant is certainly moving in with his career. Although he is doing it by popping back to Hamlet.
David Tennant as HamletIt seems that recording of the recent RSC production is underway, something that will likely utilise either an already built set for another production of the play or a stripped down set with the focus on the actors performance.
David Tennant, Patrick Stewart and almost all of the original principal cast are involved at the semi-secret location which is being recorded for posterity and will more than likely quickly appear in the classrooms of GCSE pupils across the country within the next few years as a means of bypassing the stuffy costumes and ornate language of Shakespeare and showing the Bard's work as performed by one of the most famous actors in the country.
It's a genius idea - one that is likely to result in one of the highest selling educational DVDs of all time.

Taylor Kitsch and Lynn Collins Sign Up for John Carter from Mars
Now that we know they're filming in Utah, it seems Pixar has found its two main actors for their upcoming film. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Taylor Kitsch and Lynn Collins have both landed the lead roles in John Carter of Mars.
Kitsch will portray the title character, a Civil War veteran who somehow gets transported to Mars and finds himself between a war on the dying planet and Collins will portray Dejah Thoris, the heir to the throne of Mars' Hellium Kingdom.
Both Kitsch and Collins were seen in X-Men Origins: Wolverine last. Andrew Stanton is directing for Pixar, from a script he wrote with Mark Andrews. We reported earlier today that the film would go into production this November in Utah.

EXCLUSIVE: Iron Man, Deadpool & Spider-Man Get ‘Bromantic’ In ‘Marvel Bromance’ Collection
“Bromance.” Love the term or hate it, it’s become a part of the nation’s vernacular — and apparently, it’s become a part of the comics world, too. The follow-up to last year’s “Marvel Romance” collection, this August’s “Marvel Bromance” will offer up some of the greatest “bromantic” moments from the publisher’s long history, featuring Spider-Man, Wolverine, Deadpool and other popular characters engaging in good, old-fashioned male bonding… superhero-style.

Foxx: 'Berry Kiss Was A Joke'
From: imdb.com
Jamie Foxx has brushed off critics of his impromptu kiss with Halle Berry at a recent U.S. awards ceremony - insisting their lip lock was a prank conjured up by the actress.
Foxx presented the sexy star with the Hottest Girl On the Planet award at Spike TV's 2nd Annual Guy's Choice Awards in Los Angeles last month, and they shocked the audience with a passionate on stage embrace.
The actor/singer is still mesmerised by their steamy session, but insists he didn't step out of line by kissing the star - who shares a 15-month-old daughter, Nahla, with partner Gabriel Aubry.
Foxx explains, "It was a joke. First, I want to let everybody know that I respect Halle Berry and I respect her relationship. But after she won the (2001) Oscar, Adrien Brody came up and laid a little tongue on her. So she decided to get me back, which I didn't mind at all."
And the Ray star admits he was so nervous before pulling Berry's prank, he nearly backed out at the last second.
He adds, "I almost froze but I said, 'Think quick Foxx,' and I got into it... she really gave it to me and I appreciate that."

Stewart Praises Star Trek Movie
From: imdb.com
Former Star Trek: The Next Generation actor Patrick Stewart has praised director Jj Abrams for successfully resurrecting the franchise - insisting he "loved" the new movie.
Abrams brought the sci-fi franchise back to cinemas this year with Star Trek, a prequel to the original 1960s TV show, featuring a new cast of young actors.
Stewart played Captain Jean-Luc Picard in the Star Trek: The Next Generation TV series for seven years and brought his character to the big screen in four spin-off films, including 2002's Star Trek Nemesis.
And the British star insists he is delighted the original show has been resurrected once again and is full of praise for Chris Pine, who portrays a young Captain James T. Kirk in the new movie.
He says, "He's brilliant, charming, funny and utterly delightful."
And Stewart is adamant he is not bitter about movie bosses' decision to leave him out of the new movie, adding, "I loved it. It was a very odd experience to be in the cinema watching a Star Trek movie that I wasn't in. With the exception of Leonard Nimoy, I didn't know any of the cast but it's still Star Trek. I got a great kick out of it."
