Ryan Reynolds likes "brutal, rugged and ugly" violence.
The 'X-Men Origins: Wolverine' actor - who plays assassin Deadpool in the forthcoming superhero movie - only agreed to star in the film because it is so bloody.
He said: "You're not going to see 'Kill Bill'-style blood geysering up from severed heads! But I think you're going to see a kind of violence that's a little more brutal, rugged and ugly. Which is one of the things I liked about it."
Ryan did all his own stunts in the movie, meaning he had to master the art of sword-fighting before shooting began and hopes audiences will be impressed with his new skills.

I’m sure everyone is aware that X-Men Origins: Wolverine leaked online a week or two ago. It was a rough cut with no music and incomplete effects. For those good souls who decided not to watch it, congratulations…however it is clear someone did, as a spoof has appeared online over at Youtube. The best parts are the CGI tennis ball Gambit and the Wolverine vs. tractor battle. Watch below!

Berry Still Determined Not To Wed

Halle Berry has repeated her commitment never to wed again - and she's found a man who shares her anti-marriage stance.
The actress vowed never to be anyone's wife again after she split from her second husband Eric Benet in 2006, and she's sticking to her promise even though she's found love and a family with model Gabriel Aubry.
She tells the new issue of Harper's Bazaar magazine, "I'm done. I happened to find a person who feels done too, and he's never even been married before. So it works."
But the 42 year old is committed to being a mum again, now baby Nahla is one.
She adds, "My pregnancy was amazing. I was happy that whole time, I felt good, I had energy, I was like Superwoman. I wish I could feel like that for the rest of my life, that's how fantastic it was."

Nothing says summer blockbuster quite like a good fast food promotion, and although Happy Meals have always been a pretty reliable marketing tool in the past, this year it seems like Hollywood has a hankerin’ for some ‘za instead. Earlier this week Pizza Hut unveiled a new website for Terminator Salvation where they will be showing off exclusive footage from the movie and running a contest with some sweet prizes including a trip to the Hollywood premiere. On top of that, they will also be giving away a free one-topping medium pizza to anyone named John Connor or Sarah Connor on Thursday, May 21. I’m serious.

Not to be outdone, Papa John’s just launched a promotion of their own this week for X-Men Origins: Wolverine. They’re not giving away any prizes, but instead, they’ve created a new pizza specifically for Logan and his pals: the XL X-treme Cheese Pizza, which comes loaded with nearly a full pound of cheese! Genius. Obviously the folks at Fox are still so busy doing damage control on the leaked workprint that they don’t seem to realize that being associated with “a full pound of cheese” might be a bad thing for Wolverine’s rep. Well, at least Papa John’s didn’t give away the movie’s top secret (read: not in the least bit shocking) PG-13 rating. What do you think, which pizza promotion offers the best value in the current economic climate? Is one less embarrassing than the other?

Cumming Hopeful Of X-men Return

British actor Alan Cumming is still hoping to return to the X-men franchise - after he was dropped from the third superhero film.
The star appeared in the second comic book adaption, 2003's X2, as teleporting mutant Nightcrawler and was contracted to return for the 2006 follow-up X-Men: The Last Stand.
Cumming was disappointed when his part in the sequel was scrapped - and admits he would like to be given the chance to reprise the role in the future.
He says, "Nobody's said anything about it, but it might be quite fun to go back. I was supposed to do it again and they didn't pick up my option for a third one. It was sort of 'superhero interruptus'."
Jackman Apologises Over Twitter Blunder

Australian actor Hugh Jackman has been forced to uncover the secret team behind his online blogging - after an employee made an embarrassing error on his Twitter.com page.
The X-Men star has garnered thousands of fans on the social networking site, who are all following his regular online posts.
But Jackman's Twitter blogging came under scrutiny in his native country this week (beg06Apr09) after he mistakenly referred to Sydney's famous Opera House as the 'Opera Centre.'
The star was subsequently forced to admit that he hadn't been updating the page himself - relying on a staff member in America to do his blogging for him.
He says, "I communicated it over the phone and when that got translated by someone American in my office it came out all wrong.
"I do know the Opera House is called the Opera House - I think I had my high school leaving assembly at the Opera House when I was 18 so I should know that one."
Jackman is not the first star to be caught using an online marketing team to manage their internet accounts - both 50 Cent and Britney Spears rely on staff members to help with their web exploits.
McKellen's Struggles With Day-Lewis

Sir Ian McKellen always struggled working with Daniel Day-Lewis - because of the star's extreme acting methods.
The thespians were both members of the Royal Shakespeare Company throughout the 1980s.
McKellen insists he found it difficult to get on with Day-Lewis, because he was so serious about his techniques.
And McKellen reveals the Oscar-winner has maintained his method acting ways throughout his career.
He says, "Daniel insists you address him by his character's name the whole time he is doing a film. If he is speaking with an American accent, he talks all the time in American. If he is riding horseback, then it is horseback all the time."

At a Sydney event for "Wolverine," Jackman made a superhero-worthy entrance by arriving at Cackatoo Island by helicopter and then zipping down to the ground on a "flying-fox" line. Once reaching the ground, he then unveiled 20 minutes of the completed footage from the movie.

Hugh Jackman says he's "heartbroken" over the recent online leak of X- Men Origins: Wolverine, comparing people seeing the unfinished version of the movie to a Ferrari without its paint. It remains to be seen how the piracy will impact the box office, but I think in the long run the movie will recover.
Kind of lost in that debacle was the very cool decision by Fox to hold an online contest for the U.S. premiere of the film on April 27th. The winning city will be announced on April 20th, so there's still time to vote.
The list of the top ten cities in terms of votes has been released by Fox and while it's not a guarantee that one of these places will hold the premiere, it's a safe bet that if they're leading to this point, knowing they have a legitimate chance to host Jackman, other cast members, and the freakin' Wolverine movie might increase activity in those locations.

Hugh Jackman Condemns Wolverine Leak; Buzz Still Strong

As unfortunate as the X-Men Origins: Wolverine leak was, it has created a bit more buzz, at least in theory (we have yet to see how well it'll do on opening weekend). Take these results from a recent MovieTickets.com poll: 70% of male ticket buyers polled, and 60% of female ticket buyers, intend to see Wolverine on opening weekend. Additionally, 3 of the 5 age groups polled (Under-24, 25-34, 35-44) list Wolverine as the No. 1 next film they intend to see in theaters. Of course, because it's the first big summer movie opening on May 1st, this could all just be natural, but this is a good sign it'll still do well, I think.
At a recent press event held in Syndey, Australia to kick off the worldwide press tour (via Reuters), Wolverine star Hugh Jackman condemned the leak, saying, "It's a serious crime, and there's no doubt it's very disappointing — I was heartbroken by it." Jackman, who really is the perfect Logan, has been championing this project and the character for a long time, even appearing at Comic-Con last year to debut footage and give his thanks to Wolverine creator Len Wein. "Obviously people are seeing an unfinished film. It's like a Ferrari without a paint job." Let's just hope it's an unfinished Ferrari, not an unfinished jalopy.
